I think you're being a little hard on yourself. It sounded good to me and that's really all that matters. And I was even sober!
Plus, the suit looked hot!

Yeah, all things considered, the show was ok and Im glad you came and had fun.
The internal voice can be a tricky thing:
I cant hear my voice in the monitor
Fuck! this mic stand is broken
Did a button just pop off my suit?
Where is my sustain pedal
And on and on

Yeah, the mic stand issues were fairly dumb. I'm quite certain if it were me I would have thrown the mic stand across the club and walked off stage.
So, by comparison you showed amazing restraint.
Mirv was 'on' last night too ... some of the best playing I've ever heard from him ... and that's saying something.
And not for nothing, but an MBO show with some minor issues is still better than 90% of what else is out there.
