I've been listening to all the Beatles tracks on youtube yesterday. Cost me lots of sleep.
I also listened to some covers. Johnny Cash singing "In My Life" is awesome, but not as delicately sung as in Lennons performance. With all that melancoly it could easily be my all time favorite Beatle track. But I have been known to change my mind on that.
On a side note: I want sideburns!

That short frontal of Lennon in the video is great. To bad there are not that many video clips of them around.

That LOVE remix didn't leave a permanent impression on me. More like a curiosity. O, sure it's cleverly crafted, but from my perspective there's nothing new in it. It reminded me of the Rutles, but with less humor. I'm afraid it's just money making.
Let's face it: there is no new material arriving anymore
It works great for the live show, but in cd form, its like listening to a Pink Floyd album on shuffle...it doesn't flow too well.
The fab four joking about in the studio was new to me.
