"...is out there" to paraphrase a popular tv series (and movie?). But what can you say? No truth outside the internet? What about the truth in genuine human interaction or human/nature interaction. It may not constitute the holy grail-ish universal truth, but sure makes me feel truly human!
Well..I think this diagram is intended as a humorous stab at the idea that everything you read on the net (IE Blogs) is "true".
You know, like when someone is trying to win an argument by saying "Well, I read that...". Insinuating that the mere act of reading supports a point.
Who said it? When and why.
Oh yes, I fully understood the diagram. But maybe I was too serious about it, because, as you say, everything that is written can be used as supporting a point of view.
(just look at the old and new Iran reports)
Our students do sometimes take the info in the internet too serious and DO believe the info in the first link they find to be true. "The internet says so...."
So, the humor in the diagram is close to the truth itself.
