History of Daylight Savings
Personally I think it was a dark day when we trusted the control of time to our government.
Here's a history of daylight savings time:

Metasonix Scrotum Smasher
It's a fine day indeed when the maker of a guitar/keyboard stomp box promotes their product with the words "Now you can pound your own happy nutsack." God I want one of these. Check out the audio examples. Teabag your guitar!

Reason Defined
This simple chart pretty much sums it up.

I watched "Jesus Camp" this weekend and while I didn't learn anything new, and was not particularly impressed, I was reminded how sad it is to stare into a intellectual vacuum, especially when children are involved. Pol Pot and Hitler knew the same things these Evangelical fucks know, and that is "get em while they are young".
The real sad thing is that none of these little guys and gals will know the joys of Playing World of Warcraft.

Epiphone 5 Watt. Ripping.
Looking for the Page "Whole Lotta Love" guitar tone? One of the misconceptions about Pages guitar tone is that he used huge amps, in fact many of his "biggest" tones were achieved with tiny amps.Take this 5 watt Epiphone practice amp for example. A steal for $100 bucks or so. Plus this thing sure looks damn cool.

Autopilot vs MBO
If you haven't checked out Air Kings Autopilot then your missing out on some audio goodness. This stuff works great at work, drug come downs, hell everywhere. What is it?"Autopilot is Air King's generative audio software system which takes disparate audio elements from a LARGE custom sound pool and combines them in a random manner to create an infinite, ever changing, never-repeating landscape of sound."

Your Bloody Well Right!
Finally getting the hogs 140b Wurlitzter fixed today. Brought it into a fine fellow who has a rather amazing vintage keys collections (Mellotrons and Orchestron's to name but a few) so Im excited. If you don't know the sound of these mighty beasts we use em all over our album and they are a mainstay of any Supertramp song. Oh joy! It simply impossible to go on stage with all digital/controllers, and I wont do it, especially when I have this amazing, beat to hell Wuri sitting around. Now all I have to do is buy the sustain pedal and get a case for the damn thing, which is an expensive proposition. Ah the joys of vintage gear.

Apple DRM Free Future?
At least Jobs knows what people what: unmolested music. It's nice to hear him articulate his anti-DRM stance here, but one wonders if the labels will pay attention. My guess is they will only take heed when their suck ass bussiness models all come crashing down. Perhaps the death of Tower Records was not enough of a red flag? Fuck em.

MBO Music Club: American Primitive Vol 2
This album is absolutly wonderful, amazing, jaw dropping. The more one listens, the more one is astounded."Revenants. Phantoms. Biographical ciphers who emerged from their anonymous
dark, made 78 rpm recordings, and were promptly swallowed up by darkness again. Yet their recordings have made an indelible place for themselves in our world by dint of their capacity to inspire wonder"
