Kaleidoscope Eyes
Ok. This is bordering on fetish, but boy this photo book looks cool. Kaleidoscope Eyes: A Day In The Life of Sgt Pepper is a collection of photo's by Henry Grossman, capturing the Beatles in their prime as they record their seminal album. It's got silver lined pages, and is on fancy paper and is made by the same masters who published "Recording The Beatles". Oh, and it's $500 bucks.Maybe it's just me, but I can stare at Beatles in the studio pics all day long. Makes me feel like a little kid again. Fuck, I'll probably end up buying it. What a dick.

$500.00? $500.00!! Aaargh! I can't afford it. And yet, I can't afford not to buy it either. It's true that the 'Recording the Beatles' book was worth every penny, though at a 'mere' $100.00 it was a relatively cheap purchase.
I too can spend all of my time staring at photos of the Beatles in a recording studio. I get out a magnifying glass and try to read control settings and other details.
