Adam - have you ever used garageband to write/record/mix a song?
How does it compare to the pro stuff?

I dont really use Garageband, I've had some limited exposure to it and it does seems cool. I know some people who dig it.
I do use Ableton's Live, which is a wonderful program. It can do everything Garageband does and much, much more. I would recommend it over Garageband just for features alone.
Although I don't use software to help write and arrange anything that I compose. That's all done on a guitar or a piano or in my tiny mind.
