Well..I wont disagree about Islam's non tolerance, and I'd agree that if I "HAD" to pick Tooth Fairies I'd pick the Pope any day..
Having said that,Im not sure that screaming "ISLAM IS WORSE!" is a thoughtful response to Maher's points about the Pope.

I don't know that the pope is necessarily an "easy target." I think he's got more than enough people to back him up on this one. Bear in mind that Maher wasn't just saying things to rouse rabbles, he was also trying to be entertaining. It was television, you know.
Yep, its a pity thats what we call 'entertainment'...the ratings game. Shock Jock...shtick. its as old and worn out as his soul. SNL did this gig in the 70's. I suppose if the Pope was in the audience Maher would have busted out the sledge-o-matic and sprayed him with watermelons.

I'm not promoting the Pope or his followers actions. BTW, when is the head of anything, held accountable? Was Janet Reno accountable for Waco? Was Clinton Accountable for Bosnia? Is Bush accountable for Iraq? They should all be in jail but there free to fuck us more.

He's gone after Islam frequently on his show. Have you ever seen the program? Furthermore, as far as accountability goes, he's always talking about Bush being held accountable for Iraq. I think you should review some transcripts of the show before sounding even more mis-informed.
