Recording Diary v38
Anjuna is complete. Craig placed a bass line, that took some time to write-sometimes reducing is the only way out of a hole. After tracking his frettless Craig then played a Ebow part of the bridge which I soon followed with three Ebow Les Paul guitar parts. Sounds rather "Frippery" now. Nice.
All tracking is complete..just needs a solo by Mirv.
Next we set up a simple rhythmic bed for a new tune "The Armies Of The Dead" consisting of a click and Tympani drum hits. This was followed by a two chord Melotron flue progression. We then set up a mic and I sang the tune, which was quickly doubled.
Exhaustion set in. I went home to a warm bed.

Is this song an homage to Army of Darkness?

How much longer until you think you are ready to release? Any estimate?
2000 years.
When will it be done? My guess is the end of the year..But could be sooner..or...longer. We are working like crazy on the new tunes..but it's always an issue of time.
